I was playing 18 holes at Rancho Park in Los Angeles when the earthquake hit. Now I know that when an earthquake hits its good to be playing golf. There is nothing to fall on you!
That is interesting, John; makes sense as well.
Coincidentally, near the flag stick is the safest place to be when I am taking my approach shot!
This is true. Rancho Park is a nice municipal. I like the Plaque at the 12th hole commemorating the time that Arnold Palmer made a 12 on a that hole during tournament play back when Rancho hosted the LA open back in the 1960s.
